Ta' Cassia Salina Restaurant is
situated in a 180 year old house of character which has been
carefully converted and designed to keep it's original features.
Overlooking the Salina salt
pans and the surrounding countryside, this place gives a sense
of serenity. The mature garden is also a big asset during the
hot Summer nights.

International dishes with the finest local ingredients. Open
everyday for Dinner from 18.30 and for Sunday Lunch from 12.00.
History
The
photo to the right was taken around the 1930’s. You can see the salt being taken
from the No.10 pan at the Salina Salt Pans (built around 1600) and
loaded on wagons which were pushed on rails to go into storage.
The building in the foreground is the house where the Ta' Cassia
Salina
Restaurant is now. During that period it was used as a Bar and a
kind of Lodging House. This house of character has recently
(2006) been
restored and converted.
